We must now develop the circuit that will enable power to be directed through the DC motor via the switch.
Connect a white wire from the positive terminal of the battery holder, as shown on the right, to the switch.

Next connect the other white wire from the negative terminal to the closest brush, as shown on the right.

Now connect the longer white wire form the other brush to the middle connection point of the switch.

This will give the complete circuit as shown on the right.
